Job Title: Working Site Foreman

Location: London, Kent & Nationwide

Salary: £22 per hour + package( Pension + Holidays)

Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 12 hours per day, Monday to Friday (Weekends and night shifts may be required)

Role Overview:

The Working Site Foreman will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This role involves both managerial duties and hands-on tasks, such as installing doors and kitchens.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Duties:

Unlock the site and ensure all areas are safe.

Verify that all isolations are in place before work commences.

Maintain clean and tidy welfare facilities.

Ensure fire extinguishers are in place and untampered.

Manage trades to ensure they work in line with current drawings and address any clashes with the project manager's help.

Ensure all trades and operatives work safely.

Print and review all trades' Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), ensuring operatives sign them.

Maintain current and correctly displayed site signage and notice boards.

Provide a safe route for all operatives or appropriate signage if a safe route is not possible.

Conduct and register inductions for visitors and operatives, including CSCS card verification.

Ensure new tools are PAT tested and logged.

Update the Plant Register and issue necessary permits for all trades.

Ensure site safety and security before locking up.

Weekly Duties:

Keep site drawings and information current.

Communicate any changes to construction issue drawings to the designer and PM via email.

Conduct and file at least one Toolbox Talk weekly.

Carry out and file a weekly Site Manager H&S inspection.

Complete and file the weekly fire extinguisher checklist, plant review, and working at height equipment review.

Submit a photo progress report by 12:00 PM every Friday using site audit pro.

Submit a weekly H&S returns pack by 12:00 PM every Friday, including:

Induction register

Permit register

Toolbox talk sign-off sheet

Site Manager H&S inspection

Project Manager H&S inspection

Plant register

WAH register

RAMS sign-off sheet

Qualifications:

CSCS (Gold, Black, White) / SMSTS or SSTS/ First aid/ Asbestos Awareness, City & Guilds Joinery & Carpentry
