Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN KS4 Teacher to join our broad spectrum SEN school in Coleshill, Warwickshire. The successful candidate will start in January 2025 and will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 4 students with a range of special educational needs.Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of KS4 students with diverse SEN requirements.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes students' academic and personal development.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff to provide comprehensive support to students.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience in teaching students with special educational needs within the UK.
- Strong understanding of SEN best practices and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
