Description
Flexiform is a leading designer, manufacturer and installer of office furniture across the UK's public and private sectors. The manufacturing facility in Bradford also encompasses a fast-growing subdivision, Asgard Secure Steel Storage. Asgard provide secure storage solutions to businesses and private consumers.
The Head of Finance will be the number one finance role within Flexiform and is a key hire into the Senior Management Team as the current Finance Director (and joint owner of the business) looks to retire.
We are searching for a candidate with the talent, ability and enthusiasm to evolve towards the statutory Finance Director role within this ambitious, privately owned, organisation.
Responsibilities
The Head of Finance will work closely with the Managing Director, Operations Director and Sales Director. They must be able to bring additional technical and commercial bandwidth to the organisation whilst also retaining a very hands-on familiarity with the financial detail of the company.
Leading a small but capable team, the successful candidate will work collaboratively to effect change, evolve systems and help unlock profitable growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate to build on what has gone before and you will enjoy developing the new ERP system (SAP) to help weave financial insight through the entire operation.
Your meaningful analysis of the numbers and your ability to build relationships will allow for more effective partnering across all levels of the business and you should quickly become a "go to" person for commercial insight.
Qualifications
Candidates must be qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and will have experience in a commercially focused financial controller (FC) or Finance Manager (FM) role with a tangible appreciation of the Owner Managed environment. Interpersonally, you must be down to earth, credible and enthusiastic.
