My client is seeking to recruit an experienced Litigation Paralegal who is diligent, self-motivated and a fast learner. The successful candidate will be working directly with Partners as well as other qualified and unqualified staff. They will be able to demonstrate experience in the criteria listed below and be able to hit the ground running with variety of litigation matters. They must have technical knowledge commensurate to their level of experience as well as a pro-active approach to risk management, a willingness to learn, and a good knowledge of the litigation process. Client care is a priority for my client, and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate when they have gone over and above to provide a top-quality service to the client. They will be keen to progress and grow within the department. Relevant professional training will be provided and career development opportunities available to the right candidate.

Essential Experience
- Knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules
- Experience of dealing with County Court claims
- Debt recovery
- Liaising with and briefing Counsel
- Ability to perform thorough legal research on case law, statutes, and procedural issues to support case strategy.
- Experience in providing updates to clients and preparing clear case reports.
- Familiarity with trial bundles, witness statements, and assisting in trial preparation.
Preferable Experience
- Mortgagee possession claims.
- Landlord and tenant work.
- Experience in High Court and Tribunal proceedings.
- Knowledge of electronic and manual court filing procedures.
- Familiarity with disclosure processes, including document review, organisation, and e-discovery tools.
- Exposure to general litigation.
Desirable skills
- LPC would be an advantage but not essential.
