Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently recruiting for an Interim Payroller to join a business based in North Bristol for a period of circa 11 months - Depending on start date. You'll be working within a friendly team in a large organisation which can offer hybrid working and free parking.
Role: Payroller
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 DOE (Hourly rate equivalent)
Duration: Until October 2025
Start date: Flexible
Working pattern: 37 hours a week. Hybrid working with 3 days a week in the office
Responsibilities include:
- To provide pension information and support staff with any queries relating to pensions
- Pensions administration - starters, leavers etc
- Handling queries regarding staff payroll
- Changes to employee data - allowances/deductions
- Monitoring and processing absence, sickness pay etc
- Processing maternity, paternity, shared parental leave
- Assisting the team in running the payroll - end to end
Skills/experience needed:
- Demonstrate payroll & pensions knowledge
- Previous experience of processing payroll for a large or complex organisation
- Willingness to learn and broaden pensions & payroll knowledge
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication and ability to resolve issues
- Understanding of pension contribution schemes - Auto enrolment as a minimum
- Good knowledge of HMRC regulations
- High attention to detail
