Agricultural Administrator

Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Agricultural Administrator in West Bromwich

Rate of Pay: £13.02 per hour

Hours: TBD hours pw

Location: West Bromwich, B71

Start Date: ASAP up to end Sept.

Brief description:

The role will be part-time (flexible working on an agreed rota basis) to assist with cashing up, banking, ordering, payments, bookings, enquiries, deliveries & timesheets.

Duties:

  • To lead on ordering, invoicing and keeping records of spend, receipts, procurement and delivery's using the counsel SBS system.
  • Operate ICT systems, List applications and ticketing software in an accurate and timely way.
  • Provide a courteous customer service.
  • The production of accurate and time critical, documents, spreadsheets and correspondence using relevant ICT skills as required.
  • Answer telephones arrange meetings and manage diaries and inboxes of designated staff.
  • To organise site and facilities repairs and maintenance.
  • Comply with the Councils financial procedures and accounting instructions.
  • Maintain an efficient filing and electronic document record system including the distribution of incoming and collection of outgoing post, emails and messages.
  • Collection, recording and reporting service KPI's, financial and accounting information and prepare appropriate returns as required.
  • Record information and maintain records as required.
  • To liaise with internal and external customers and other stakeholders in support of project work and to ensure the service area is delivering the standard of service required.

Candidates would need to have:

  • Level 2 in Numeracy & Literacy, or equivalent qualifications.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience of working in a busy office/ Visitor service environment.
  • Experience of responding to written correspondence.
  • Experience of SBS- Oracle (Finance).
  • Experience in maintaining accurate records.
  • Experience of project working and supporting the delivery of services.
  • Knowledge of and ability to utilise Microsoft office-based packages (e.g. power point, excel, word).
