Operations Manager

Our client, an award winning and chartered firm of financial planners are looking to recruit an experienced Operations Manager to join their city of London based team.

This position supports the Managing Director with the day to day running of the business, collaborating with the leadership team to drive technology, service & operational efficiencies.

Duties & responsibilities will include (not limited to):

Continuously ensure the team processes are lean, agile & cost effective

  • Refine processes to streamline the communication, visibility & completion of tasks by the
  • Identify & implement changes where necessary
  • Rollout new systems/ processes across the wider business.
  • Develop a strong culture of ownership & accountability for processes & procedures
  • Report to the MD on the delivery of projects or operational change
  • Ensure the business has the relevant controls in place to maintain the quality of the data held for clients to provide a first class experience through future delivery tools
  • Producing analysis & reports
  • Provide support for potential acquisitions ensuring the smooth transition

The candidate:

  • Previous operational experience within a firm of financial planners (essential)
  • Strong IT skills & previous integration experience
  • Experience of CURO (desirable)
  • CII level 4 diploma (desirable)
  • Excellent knowledge of financial planning processes

  • Starting basic salary of up to c £65,000 + 10% bonus
