IT Systems Analyst for a not-for-profit organisation who are expanding their portfolio of services. The IT Systems Analyst / Technical Analyst is a new role and will involve taking responsibility for shaping and delivering their IT & Digital Business / Change Portfolio. IT Systems Analyst will analyse complex business requirements, drawing out the technical requirements that helps to support the design and delivery of the Change Portfolio and Business as Usual projects. The IT Systems Analyst will also be responsible for analysis, IT Solution design, integration and data mapping supporting business change projects and working closely with an agile projects team.

IT Systems Analyst:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Capture technical needs / requirements and translate these into user-stories, epics, process diagrams
  2. Collaborate with different teams including design, delivery, and architecture teams to help understand business goals and technical solutions / product roadmaps that deliver business benefits
  3. Be part of a cross-functional team that help in the delivery of technical requirements that contribute to new products and services.
  4. Work with business users to write comprehensive technical specifications through facilitation of workshops
  5. Support development and testing colleagues in ensuring there is a consistent understanding of project and technical needs
  6. Assist in the build of non-technical requirements
  7. Work closely with BA's, Solution Architects, and wider teams to ensure work is prioritised in line with business needs
  8. Utilise own initiative and technical understanding to help facilitate accurate decision making within the teams to delivery technical solutions.
  9. Support continuous improvements and document feedback from stakeholders to aid in finding opportunities for further improvements to solutions
  10. Aid in Implementation of new systems and system enhancements/changes and documentation.

IT Systems Analyst - Skills Required.

  • Experience of capturing technical requirements in a complex environment
  • Experience of a methodology such as Agile, Lean, SCRUM, Kanban
  • Willingness to take a pragmatic approach to business meetings
  • Candidates must be comfortable analysing data, system functionality and complex business information
  • You will be passionate about service delivery and keen to bring your own ideas to the team.

IT Systems Analyst - Benefits:

Basic salary up to 57k

Successful candidates will have a background as a Business Systems Analyst / Systems Analyst and be well versed in capturing technical requirements in a complex environment.

The role is part of a newly formed team and will be initially offered on a 12-month Fixed term contract but may be offered permanently at the end of the duration.

The role will be remote, home-working, and occasional visits to their Liverpool office for team meetings probably monthly / quarterly and offers a basic salary up to £57k with good benefits.
