Interim Head of AP & AR | Post-production Business | London
Harmonic Finance are delighted to be working exclusively with a scale up Post-production business to their support their search for an Interim Head of AP & AR for a period of 12 months.
The Client
This Post-production business has achieved 20% Y-o-Y turnover for the last 4 years and are currently focusing on growing out to the US Market. Our client's work has been recognised at national awards shows and have featured on several high-end projects across global streaming platforms. With a highly experienced CFO heading up the Finance Team, there is a strong entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit within the business.
The Role
This contract shall run for 12 months as the current incumbent goes on maternity leave. You shall be responsible for reviewing the current AP, AR, and Treasury functions and driving efficiencies across the finance team, with a focus on reducing month end procedures. You shall work alongside the Finance Controller to develop financial strategies and mentor the current Finance Assistant. Our client offers hybrid working, with the expectation that the successful candidate comes into their central London offices 3 times a week.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing AP and AR processes
- Implementing efficiencies within Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger systems
- Develop AP and AR dashboard of KPIs
- Collaborating with Financial Controller to manage strategies within transactional finance
- Reviewing Finance Assistant activities, including processing invoices, payrolls, and chasing aged debts
What we need to see (essential):
- 3+ years of managing AP and AR teams
- Experience working with scale ups
- Strong data management and excel skills
- Fantastic communication skills

- Sage Proficiency
- A love for TV & Film!
Salary: £400-£500 Day Rate
Location: London (Hybrid)
Start Date: ASAP
