Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking a Customer Service Administrator to join their client's team.
Salary: £14.70 per hour for the first 12 weeks increasing to £16.59 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-4pm, 40 hours per week
Primary purpose and function of position:
- Primarily supporting the department with systematic data analysis with interrogation of order errors / process improvers using SAP and WMS systems plus other supporting systems including Microsoft packages.
- Working with and alongside our local Logistics teams, 3PL Transport services providers and teams based remotely in Prague and India.
- The role includes providing data analysis and systematic data extraction in support of department functionality including many general systematic administrative tasks relevant to a customer support & process analyst function.
- The role will also have strict links with tracking and compliance to the contracts and agreements that are in place and aligned with our business KPIs and priorities - Safety, Quality and Service at optimum Cost with full conformance to our SOPs.
The Individual
Education
- Higher Education, A level, Degree, Diploma or equivalent in Logistics or Administration Experience.
- Experience in working within an office environment using different systems and computer packages.
- Experienced in dealing with 3PL contractors Experience of general warehousing and manufacturing operations.
- Systems expertise in Warehouse systems - SAP, WMS & TMS
- Experience managing projects and changes to routine operations.
- Good record of delivering process improvement.
- Knowledge of project management principles
Technical competencies:
- Understanding of Logistics / Distribution / Warehousing and Transport processes Strong organisation skills with experience in deadline adherence.
- Demonstrates negotiation skills.
- Basic business sense with positive flexibility.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- High level computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project etc.)
- Leadership & negotiation skills would be advantageous.
