As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the development and promotion of the company's brand, alongside building engagement with customers and suppliers, corporate marketing and communications, support product marketing, and managing marketing strategies. You will support sales and margin growth and deliver major campaigns that return an ROI for suppliers. Networking and skills and evidence of digital marketing expertise across email, online and social channels is vital.
Marketing Manager duties include:
- Responsible for developing, communicating, and promoting the brand propositions internally and externally, together with the Senior Leadership Team.
- Creation and management of marketing material that supports new business activity, including presentational material and event management.
- Development and maintenance of the company's corporate website, to ensure brand consistency and reputation.
- Overall responsibility for the marketing automation platform, including customer list management, email marketing, website and social media content, customer newsletters.
- Responsible for customer research (including satisfaction surveys) as required.
- Supporting the customer experience, including management of social media interactions and the brand experience.
- Managing the execution of supplier-led marketing activity and supporting key supplier relationships.
- Own and manage the marketing P&L, including supporting the maximisation of marketing specific supplier income, ensuring profitable activity across all sales channels and drive revenue from our supplier partners.
- Own the lifecycle of each product marketing campaign including the justification of any income and the creation and sharing of ROI.
- Responsible for ensuring marketing actions and external activity is compliant with current legislation.
- Effectively manage a team of marketing executives with different experience levels and skill sets ensuring development and career progression.
We are keen to speak to creative professionals with a marketing , or related business degree or CIM qualifications, who are experienced in managing a team at a senior level, who can demonstrate they can administer a team and manage resources effectively.
You will have at least 5 years' experience from a marketing background and be proficient at creating and delivering digital marketing strategies in a commercially focused B2B company. You will need to be able to demonstrate commercial awareness for managing budgets, controlling costs and analysing data.
This is a senior leadership role and reports into the Managing Director.
In return, the successful Marketing Manager will be offered up to £45,000, in line with skills and experience.
