Finance Manager - About The Role
In this role you will be working within a small finance team of 3 and will be reporting into the Head of Finance. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily running of the finance function and supporting in other areas when needed.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Supporting with the preparation of management accounts and year end
- Nominal ledger control and control account reconciliations
- Control of cashbooks and formal monthly bank and petty cash reconciliations
- Overall management of the purchase ledger and reconciliation of suppliers' accounts
- Responsible for Sales Ledger and building relationships with existing suppliers
- Processing of monthly payroll journals
- Handling monthly expenses and processing all bank receipts
- Supporting with the improvement of internal systems and improving efficiency
The successful Finance Manager will have/be:
- Previous experience in a similar position
- AAT qualified or QBE candidates will be considered
- Experience with Sage would be beneficial
- Strong attention to detail
