Job Title: Data Entry Clerk (Sales & Marketing)
Hourly Rate: £8.60 - £11.44 per hour
Location: Hitchin
Contract: Temporary - Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 39 hours
COMPANY PROFILE
Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a temporary Data Entry Clerk with the potential for a permanent position to support their sales and marketing department. The role is open to candidates without prior office experience, making it an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or school leavers seeking their first office-based job.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong communication skills
- Team player with a "can do" attitude
- Basic understanding of data entry
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and organise databases, handle data entry, update records, and create reports.
- Generate and deliver reports on data, social media, sales, and marketing performance.
- Develop and manage content, schedule posts, and engage with the community on social media platforms.
- Assist with sales materials, track activities, support marketing campaigns and events, and conduct market research.
- Work with teams to ensure data accuracy and provide administrative support to data and IT teams.
- Input and maintain data accurately, and regularly review and update it to eliminate duplicates and correct errors
