About The Role
Periodic/ Specialist Cleaner
Working days - Monday to Friday although some weekends you will be required to work.
Working times - will be flexible to meet the needs of the business. Mainly 06:00 - 15:00 although some evening & night work will be required.
Your main aim will be to carry out a range of cleaning activities including machine cleaning, deep cleans, high level work using a reach & wash system, Jet washing, ad hoc tasks and any other reasonable request.
The role is mainly based at JLR Gaydon although there will be occasions when you will need to work at other JLR sites within the area.
Driving license required. IPAF license would be desirable although training would be provided.
You will also:
- Ensure that cleaning is done to the highest standards.
- Always maintain Health and Safety standards.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and stored correctly
- Work alongside your team supporting routines and workloads.
- Work with customer representatives to address any specific requirements or concerns.
- Manage equipment, materials, and stock levels informing manager of stock requests
- Carry out specialist cleaning duties and or including outside maintenance work.
- Ensure you maintain a professional image.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Full, Clean UK driving licence.
- Specialist/ Periodic cleaning experience essential
- Aptitude for working at height.
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- To be reliable and responsible with a flexible approach
- Strong people skills, good communication with active listening.
- Attention to detail and high standards of work.
- Good relationship building skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
- A Good understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
- A willingness to work as a team and follow directions from both management and client.
