SECONDARY PE TEACHER
Job Type: Full Time
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and implement physical education lessons that adhere to the national curriculum.
- Teach students the fundamentals of sports, such as basketball, football, volleyball, tennis, and athletics.
- Promote physical fitness and help students understand the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
- Develop and coordinate school sports programs, including intramural and interscholastic athletics.
- Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback and guidance to improve performance.
- Maintain a safe and tidy physical education environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders to support student success.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
- Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of sports and physical fitness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
