Secondary - Pe Teacher

SECONDARY PE TEACHER

Job Type: Full Time

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and implement physical education lessons that adhere to the national curriculum.
  • Teach students the fundamentals of sports, such as basketball, football, volleyball, tennis, and athletics.
  • Promote physical fitness and help students understand the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
  • Develop and coordinate school sports programs, including intramural and interscholastic athletics.
  • Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback and guidance to improve performance.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy physical education environment.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders to support student success.
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
  • Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of sports and physical fitness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
