Description
As Accounts Receivable Clerk, your key duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Prepare, verify, and send out invoices to customers, ensuring that all invoices are accurate and issued in a timely manner
- Accurately record incoming payments in the accounting system and maintain up-to-date records of accounts and transactions
- Regularly reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted and investigate and resolve any discrepancies or irregularities
- Monitor and manage overdue accounts
- Support the month-end closing process by ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve accounting procedures and controls
- General ad-hoc queries where required
Profile
The successful candidate will ideally hold the following:
- 2-3 years of experience gained within Accounts Receivable processes
- Exposure to working within the Financial Services industry
- Will be able to start the role immediately
- Will be open minded to a temporary ongoing position
- Will be eager and driven to step into the position with the ability to hit the ground running
Job Offer
