Senior Event Marketing Executive

Hybrid working Tuesdays & Thursdays office based in Epsom, 3 days remote working

Salary circa £35,000-£40,000 pa negotiable dependent on experience + benefits

The role

Are you a results-driven Marketer with experience in Content, Social, Email, and Website marketing?

Do you enjoy working in a small collaborative and fun team environment with the opportunity to support the marketing of, (and attend!) global events in the UK, Europe, and USA?

The successful candidate will join an established global events company in a varied role focused on brand, content, and digital marketing tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a small marketing team including a Copywriter, Designer, Website Manager, and the Head of Marketing in marketing global events.
  • Manage social media marketing including updates to LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and Instagram.
  • Support on event marketing tasks such as digital and social content updates, following brand guidelines.
  • Update content on the website working with the Website Manager.
  • Support brand marketing for all channels working with the copywriter and agencies and supporting across marketing where required.
  • Ensure consistent adoption of the company brand guidelines across all channels.
  • Manage the event attendee platform and the development of attendee packs.
  • Support with monitoring and analysing campaign performance and reporting to the c-team.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with external agencies, vendors, and partners to execute marketing initiatives.

Qualifications and skills desired:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience in a varied marketing position with strong marketing project management skills.
  • A flair for event marketing would be an advantage, not essential.
  • Proven experience and skills in using a content management systems (WordPress for example), and working in partnership with Creative Designer, Website Manager, and Copywriter to manage digital and offline content.
  • Proven experience in supporting with copywriting, creatives, email marketing, social marketing, and marketing admin tasks as required.
  • Proven experience supporting brand management and updating brand guidelines.
  • Strong systems and digital skills, proven experience managing email, CMS, CRM and analytics.
  • Fluent in English with strong English copywriting skills.
  • Experience of optimising copy for SEO an advantage, not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing techniques and platforms, including LinkedIn company page management, social media channels, content marketing, email marketing, and event marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and deliver impactful presentations.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and develop innovative marketing strategies.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
  • Enjoys working in a small, collaborative team.
  • Flexible for 2 days office based in Epsom, Surrey, and 3 days working from home.

The basis of this employment is an initial 6-month fixed term contract with a review at 6-months and opportunity to convert to permanent contract.
