Administrator in HR Department

This will be a busy and rewarding role working for a large college dealing with the administration of the HR department. This will initially be an ongoing temporary opportunity. This job will give you fantastic exposure of HR. The role starts asap, or at least within a week.

The Role

You will be supporting the HR team in a variety of administrative type tasks. Some things you may assist with are as follows:

  • Be the first point of contact for administrative and straightforward HR Policy and Procedure queries
  • Recording absence daily, taking messages from the answerphone and passing the messages on and logging into the system
  • Monitor the HR email inbox and pass to the relevant team member
  • Writing up and sending offer letters, applying for references and helping to co-ordinate on boarding paperwork for payroll
  • Assist the Recruitment co-ordinator with administration relating to recruitment

The Ideal Candidate for the Administrator position

This is a busy environment and small team so you need to be a good team player, and keen to develop a career within HR. You will work hard and get involved in lots of administrative tasks relating to HR. The Organisation is fantastic - due to this role being within the Educational sector, the team genuinely wants to support and guide and offer a positive employee experience. The target start date is within a week.
