My client is a manufacturer of electrical products for the energy sector looking to take on a Service Engineer for installation and commissioning work in the M62 corridor. They manufacture switchgear, power transformers and associated electrical equipment and want the appointed Service Engineer to carry out wiring, fitting, testing and commissioning of transformers for a range of clients. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity with a client of ours who are known to develop staff with great training and have great staff retention from their positive culture and focus on work/life balance.
Service Engineer - Duties - Controls, Instrumentation, Switchgear, Power Transformers
- General assembly and wiring where needed
- Site testing of equipment
- Commissioning of equipment
- Provide regular updates/feedback on installation projects
Service Engineer - The Candidate - Controls, Instrumentation, Switchgear, Power Transformers
- Previous experience working within an electrical engineering environment
- Experience working with high voltage electrical equipment (Controls, Instrumentation, Switchgear, Power Transformers)
- Site based experience, often lone working
- Previous experience of both installing and commissioning of Power transformers
