Job Description: They are seeking an experienced and motivated Transport Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their transport department, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the transport team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Develop and implement transport policies and procedures.
- Monitor and optimize transport costs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Liaise with clients to address any transport-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on transport activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Transport Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of transport regulations and logistics.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in transport management software is a plus.
