The successful candidate will be adept at managing relationships with clients and stakeholders within the insurance industry.

They maintain an exceptional standard of professionalism and integrity across all departments. They are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a small team based in their Lancaster office.

Description

As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for:

  • Manage client accounts, ensuring timely payments
  • Review financial documents for accuracy and compliance
  • Work closely with the Accounting & Finance team to address and resolve financial discrepancies
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce bad debt
  • Prepare and present financial reports
  • Participate in financial audits
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and guidelines

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • A background in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and principles
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in the insurance industry
  • Proficiency in financial software programs
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Detail-oriented and analytical thinking
