Financial Controller

We are pleased to be collaborating with a North Yorkshire based business to recruit for a Financial Controller.

The ideal candidate will have like for like experience, preferably within the industrial sector. You will be responsible for overseeing the finance function of the business, overseeing the day-to-day finance operations.

It would be beneficial for you to have prior experience managing a team as it will include line management for Accounts & HR Staff.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

  • Production & analysis of monthly Consolidated Management Accounts
  • Prepare financial information such as cash flow and dashboards for presentation to the company board and interested parties
  • Oversee processing of monthly BACS payments
  • Manage business expenses in line with company policies and budgets
  • Manage the banking & finance relationships with the company's facility providers
  • Maintain the fixed asset register
  • Overall responsibility for the balance sheet & reconciliations
  • Deal with queries from customers, suppliers and HMRC
  • Manage controls/compliance in line with statutory and financial regulations
  • Manage year-end & oversee the annual audit of accounts liaising with external partners
  • Overview & sign off company weekly and monthly payroll
