SEMH Behaviour Mentor
We are seeking a compassionate and resilient indivuduals to join our team as a SEMH Learning Support Assistant .
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who exhibit challenging behaviours and SEMH needs. You will play a crucial part in mentoring and supporting our students, helping them to develop positive behaviours and achieve academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1-1/2-1 and group support to students with SEMH needs
- Assist in the development and delivery of tailored educational programs
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for learning and personal growth
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support student progress
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with challenging behaviour and SEMH needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and resilience
- Ability to build positive relationships with students
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
