As a Wellbeing & Work Coach you will help people develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to manage their own health and wellbeing. You will use health coaching, motivational interviewing, and behaviour change skills to empower people to make positive lifestyle changes through supportive recovery plans. You will also have the knowledge and skills to break down and overcome real and perceived barriers to employment which include CV writing, Interview preparation, transferable skills, job mappings and upskilling digital capability.

Part of this role includes be able to recognise other partnership referrals to specialist areas following initial assessment and to manage the warm transfer process to ensure service standards are met.

Job Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist People using our Service to:

  • Manage and improve own physical and mental well-being

  • Develop life skills

  • Develop new meanings and purposes

  • Take control over their choices and decisions

  • Move closer to and sustain employment

  • Maintain own personal development

  • CPD on Mental Health First Aid (Min) Annual 2-day requirement

  • Completion of Risk Assessments in line with company policies

  • Successful completion of DPA & Safeguarding tests

  • Maintain correct compliance with legal regulation

  • Service

  • Ensure positive risk assessment are created and implemented in line with our policies and procedures for every referral

  • Work with individuals to develop recovery plans

  • Signpost and management of key referrals to 3rd parties

  • Management of own case load

  • Review and respond to any Quality assurance feedback

  • Obtain feedback from individual touch points to improve quality of service

  • Keep up to date with Organisational Developments and the community in which you cover.

  • Support team meetings with key learns and area developments

  • Complete accurate and timely reporting

The Candidate:

  • Essential - a minimum of 1 year one-to- one and group coaching
  • Desirable - a minimum of 1 year of designing and delivering group workshops.
  • Clear understanding of GDPR and confidentiality and Data Privacy Standards

Licence/Certification Required:

  • Essential - L2/L3 English and Mathematics
  • Essential - IAG/coaching/mentoring Accreditation
  • Desirable - Mental Health First Aider
  • Desirable - L3 Training qualification or equivalent
