Senior Management Accountant / Finance Manager
Temporary role, immediate start

I am recruiting for an urgent temporary position to join a well-established business based in Wythenshawe, who are seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant or Finance Manager to join their team as soon as possible.
The main priority in this role is to pick up the management accounts and liaise directly with auditors for the approval of statutory accounts. Please see below your key responsibilities in this role:
- Production of monthly and yearly accounts reporting for the management team
- Reporting on all sales figures within the business
- Reporting on and maintaining reports of stock, working in conjunction with the stock controller and sales departments
- Completion of monthly VAT returns
- Lead on all statutory audit requirements with external auditor
- Management of company cash flow, providing ad-hoc reports when needed
- Assist with credit control, providing assistance with difficult to reach customers
- Preparation and posting of monthly/ annual accruals and prepayments
- Other duties as required
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes and experience:
- Previous strong end to end management accounts experience
- Ideally the candidate will be qualified or QBE
- The candidate will be highly IT literate
- Must have excellent use of initiative and be able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision or guidance
In return you will receive a competitive hourly rate of between £19.00-£25.00ph dependant on experience, and this role will be an ongoing temporary contract. You will be based onsite in Wythenshawe, but this business only work a 4.5 day working week.
