August Clarke are supporting a Basingstoke-based client who are hiring an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their established financial services company. This proactive position will ensure day-to-day financial functions by providing efficient and comprehensive support to finance reporting teams.
What will th e role involve?
- Processing a range of financial transactions
- Bank reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Assisting with preparation of management accounts
- Assisting with preparation annual accounts
What experience is required :
- Previous accounts experience in a busy finance environment
- Strong communication skills
- Business or accounting related degree / Studying towards a professional accounting qualification
- Financial services experience would be beneficial
