Our client is a dynamic organisation seeking a dedicated Financial Accountant to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the implementation of a new financial system while supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
Responsibilities:

Year-End Accounts:

Deliver draft accounts and supporting documentation for year-end.

Liaise with auditors for annual audit completion.

New Financial System:

Support system implementation and testing.

Create transition mapping tables and develop user training materials.

Financial Analysis:
-
Evaluate contract and project financial performance.
-
Provide trend analysis, variance reports, and reconcile balance sheet accounts.

Monthly Management Accounts:
-
Assist in monthly accounts preparation.

Process Improvement:
-
Review and create new procedures for system support.

Identify and recommend process improvements.
Requirements:
- Experienced or part-qualified accountant with finance team experience.
- Ability to provide accurate and timely financial information.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
