Regional Technical Trainer

We are currently recruiting a Regional Technical Trainer to join our Performance, Quality and Risk team, supporting our Operation Centres and would love to hear from candidates based in the Newbury, Bristol and Westbury areas.

The team are responsible for ensuring Copart works efficiently, effectively and to our high standards by monitoring and evaluating performance.

As a Technical Trainer you will be a specialist, responsible for increasing Copart's productivity by driving continuous improvement, via high quality engaging training. They aim to teach new skills, knowledge and systems, eliminate inconsistencies and inspire Teammates.

You will create and deliver training packages complete with materials and tutorials and ensure that it is embedded, checked and feedback is given to individuals.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Creating and developing training documentation and supporting the mapping out of training plans and schedules.
  • Designing and developing high quality and consistent training via a range of methods, for example: face to face training.
  • Supporting the roll out of new initiatives, by assisting in the development of the training to ensure consistency.
  • Providing effective and thorough feedback on training outcomes, ensuring best practice is understood and shared.
  • Working alongside the Performance and Quality Team to proactively identify training opportunities and to track benefits of training delivered.

What we need from you:

  • Experience of creating and delivering training packages to large audiences, using a variety of different methods
  • Training qualification
  • Written and spoken communication skills that allow you to inform and advise others clearly
  • The ability to be hands on and lead by example
  • Experience of delivering training to others either in a group or on a one to one basis
  • Excellent planning, program management and documentation skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Interpersonal skills that enable you to work with people at all levels, motivate others and change people's attitudes when necessary
  • Excellent presentation skills and use of Microsoft Office
  • Must have great organisational and planning skills and the ability to manage your time and multitask to meet deadlines and objectives
  • A proactive, enthusiastic, and innovative approach to work
  • Must have a full driving licence, be prepared to travel and have a flexible approach to work
