Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEN in their learning journey.
- Foster personal integrity and self-esteem.
- Identify and address behavioural challenges.
- Collaborate with mainstream schools to develop effective strategies.
- Facilitate progress and achievement for pupils.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant experience working with students with SEN.
- Understanding of differentiated instruction.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for promoting positive well-being and safety.
- You will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check & provide satisfactory references.
Key Details:
- Class sizes vary (1-12 students per lesson).
- Regular meetings with parents and staff to monitor progress.
- Support during transitions to other educational settings.
- Hours of work: 8:20am - 3:15pm.
