Our client is seeking a dedicated Neighbourhood Operative to join their team in Bolton on a temporary basis.

Your Role:
As a Neighbourhood Operative, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and health of our neighbourhoods. Your daily tasks will include:

Street Cleansing & Maintenance:

- Manually sweep and collect litter from highways and open spaces.

- Remove fly-tipped waste and sharps, ensuring a safe environment for all.

- Clean up animal faeces and accident debris from roads.

Grounds Maintenance:

- Care for shrubs and flower beds, including pruning and grass cutting.

- Empty and clean dog and litter bins to keep our parks pristine.

- Conduct leaf clearance and maintain playground areas and street furniture.

- Provide exceptional service to our residents, responding to their needs and feedback.

- Complete worksheets accurately to track your work and progress.

  • Additional Responsibilities: - Perform winter gritting of footpath areas.

- Occasionally assist with the waste management section as needed.

  • A valid driving licence and a willingness to drive as part of your duties.
