Trainee CAD Technician Doncaster, DN9 3GN

  • Full time (08:30, Monday to Friday)

  • Salary up to £22,500 dependent on experience

The CAD Technician Role:

Due to a steady increase in orders, we are looking to recruit a Trainee CAD Technician to join the CAD department team where the prime responsibilities of the job are to:

  • Support survey teams in producing drawings to company standards and within specified timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental Safety, and safe working practices.
  • Assist in establishing and reviewing company drawing standards.
  • Quality check drawing content before client release.
  • Report progress and feedback to CAD Office Manager daily.
  • Develop expertise in drawing completion standards.
  • Provide on-site support as required.
  • Ensure adequacy of information provided by Survey Team for effective on-site drawings.
  • Prompt and accurate completion of all drawings before client dispatch.
  • Daily liaison with CAD Office Manager on job progress and feedback.
  • Process raw site data in N4ce and AutoCAD/BricsCAD for client issue.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
