Tech SEO Specialist - Up to £45k - Manchester City Centre (1 day in office)
Our client is a UK based integrated marketing agency, who have grown massively over the last few years, and recently opened up a Manchester office. They need a Tech SEO Specialist to come and join their fun and friendly working environment to lead their Tech SEO offering

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement technical SEO strategies for a variety of clients, both independently and with the team.
- Conduct comprehensive technical site audits to identify underlying issues and create a roadmap for future activities tailored to each client.
- Perform ongoing and ad-hoc technical SEO tasks regularly.
- Contribute to the creation of new technical SEO products and services, including the use of ChatGPT/scripts to achieve top-notch organic search results.
- Conduct keyword research individually and collaboratively with the content team.
- Analyse and clean up client backlink profiles.
- Assist in planning and forecasting for current clients and participate in the new business process.
- Stay updated on best practices and share information about emerging tools and techniques with staff and clients.
- Join client calls and meetings, including new business discussions.
- Aid in expanding the technical SEO team, including recruiting, training, and mentoring junior members.
- Enhance our client's reputation as an organic search thought leader by contributing to the blog, managing social media profiles, and attending industry events like BrightonSEO.
Ideal Candidate
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to simplify complex technical outputs for client implementation.
- Collaborate closely with project managers to meet deadlines and deliver technical outputs that align with client expectations.
- Proven experience in working collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- In-depth understanding of current best practices in technical SEO.
- A minimum of 2 years in a technical SEO-focused role, with demonstrated involvement in complex projects such as large site restructures, site migrations, and successful campaign strategy development.
- Experience with advanced techniques like SEO split testing and server log file analysis is a plus.
- Proficiency in tracking and conversion code integrations for Analytics, along with familiarity with Google Tag Manager and Google Data Studio, is highly advantageous.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Understanding how specific word combinations entered by users translate to sales for clients requires a strong grasp of spelling and grammar.
