Ofsted Registered Manager - Children's Service - £45, 000 - £55,000 + Bonus (OTE £60,000)
Search are recruiting for an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager for a children's service based in Warrington.
As the Registered Manager for this Children's Service, your pivotal role is to ensure the highest standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations. Leading a dedicated team, you will oversee day-to-day operations of 2 Homes, safeguard the well-being of the children in our care, maintain a nurturing environment promoting their development, and contribute to the growth and enhancement of our services.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organise, direct and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Home.
Comply with all relevant legislation and regulations
Embrace Home policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient operation of the Home
Provide direction and leadership to all home staff including communication and interpretation of policy, procedure and staff contracts. Ensure the proper maintenance of all resident and other records, in accordance with policy and relevant legislation
Investigate complaints and take appropriate action. Report to the Head of care/ the Responsible Individual.
Take appropriate measures to ensure optimum occupancy is always maintained
Develop and maintain good channels of communication with the individual's relatives or next of kin
Responsible for assessing competence of staff, supervision, maintenance and administration of medicines in line with relevant guidelines, ensuring compliance with Ofsted framework.

Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance.
Prepare for and actively participate in regulatory inspections.

Leadership and Management:
Provide effective leadership to the staff team, promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.
Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team.
Conduct regular supervision and performance appraisals for staff.

Child Safeguarding and Welfare:
Implement and oversee robust safeguarding procedures.
Monitor the welfare of each child and ensure their needs are met.
Work collaboratively with external agencies to support the well-being of the children.

Operational Oversight:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the home you are registered to within Birchwood Children's Service.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance service delivery.
Monitor and manage budgets effectively.
Promoting Growth:
Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans for the growth and enhancement of services.
Identify opportunities for expansion and improvement in service delivery.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to explore new initiatives and partnerships.

Communication:
Maintain effective communication with staff, children, families, and external stakeholders.
Act as a point of contact for any concerns or issues raised by stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role within a regulated childcare setting.
Hold a relevant qualification in childcare or management (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Children and Young People)
Thorough understanding of Ofsted regulations and childcare legislation.
Proven track record in leading and managing a team.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
