A prominent media company based in London is seeking an experienced Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist to join their team. This role involves close collaboration with managers, leaders, and HR Directors to identify and address the development needs of employees and teams across various regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Needs Assessment and Collaboration: Partner with managers, leaders, and HR Directors to thoroughly understand the developmental needs of employees and teams across different regions.
  • Program Design and Delivery: Develop and implement innovative virtual and face-to-face learning initiatives. These programs will leverage a blend of techniques and involve collaboration with external experts and stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Project Management and Coordination: Oversee all aspects of project management, including scheduling, registration, tracking attendance, and evaluating the impact of learning programs.
  • Advisory Role: Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance and support to employees seeking professional development opportunities and career coaching.

Required Skills and Expertise:

  • Learning Strategies Expertise: Strong knowledge of effective learning strategies and blended learning techniques.
  • Communication and Facilitation: Exceptional presentation, communication, and facilitation skills, both in virtual and in-person settings.
  • Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to work collaboratively across a global organization, engaging with both internal teams and external providers/vendors.
  • Commercial Acumen: Experience in managing the delivery of learning initiatives within defined budgets, demonstrating commercial awareness.
  • Project Management Proficiency: Skilled in managing a portfolio of projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to independently drive projects forward.
  • Independent and Collaborative Working: Ability to think independently, take proactive steps in project execution, and work effectively as part of a team.
