The Interim Sales Ledger Accountant will play a key role in managing invoicing and credit control processes. The position also involves crucial tasks in month-end and cash flow reporting, working closely with global teams to deliver insightful financial analysis and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Ledger Management: Oversee the complete sales ledger and handle debtor reconciliation.
- Invoicing and Cash Posting: Prepare sales invoices and post received cash into accounting ledgers.
- Customer Relationship Management: Manage key customer relationships and oversee credit control.
- Database Maintenance: Keep theatrical databases and billing systems up-to-date.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with the Theatrical sales team.
- Revenue Reporting: Gather theatrical box office returns, verify rental rates, and prepare month-end theatrical revenue reports.
- Reconciliations: Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
- Forecasting: Assist in forecasting theatrical revenues and cash receipts.
- Customer Master Creation: Create and maintain customer master records.
- Team Support: Provide support to the finance team as needed.
- Ad-hoc Projects: Engage in projects that support business growth and development.
- D&I Contribution: Participate in the company's D&I groups to promote inclusion.
Skills and Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable.
- Experience with MACCS is highly advantageous.
- Aspiration to achieve an accountancy qualification.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP is preferable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
