Due to business growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our team within the Sales division

The role requires someone who is confident in writing, reviewing and editing sales and marketing content, working with the design team to produce written bid responses and presentation collateral in line with deadlines. Working collaboratively with a wide-ranging mix of teams and colleagues across the business to deliver effectively.

What you'll be doing...

Your key responsibilities as the Bid Manager will consist of:

  • Management of sales activity to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
  • Support the bid process and development of each tender opportunity.
  • Ensure our strategy to win the business is clearly articulated in a timely, professional manner that always reflects the company vision, values and culture.
  • Assist the Business Development Managers in developing a sales proposal structure.
  • Overall administrative management of the department and co-ordination of bid document and design processes as required.
  • Assist in managing sales activity for tenders, company events and site-specific requirements across the business as requested. Liaising with sites when specific events are on ensuring there is a strong relationship with Head Office and client sites, ensuring the Sales Team has archive content of all site activities.
  • General co-ordination of the sales department including keeping track of stock, administrative duties including diary management of sales team.

Working Pattern: 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday (flexible as role demands)

What can you bring?

The experience and knowledge we are looking for from our future Bid Manager include:

Experience:

  • Experienced sales and/or bid co-ordinator preferably in contract catering, facilities management or a relatable industry
  • Familiar with creating high quality tender proposals
  • Ability to manage a wide range of people to achieve the best proposals

Knowledge:

  • Demonstrable ability to co-ordinate teams and processes to deliver on tender deadlines to successful completion
  • Excellent writing and grammar skills High level of attention to detail

Personal Attributes:

  • Excellent presentation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to develop internal relationships Extremely organised and systematic
  • Flexible in working hours to meet demands of the business

Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, In-Design, Adobe Suite software Familiar with database management
