Job Description

We are look for a Strategy Manager to make a significant impact on our customer's journey. The successful individual will drive the strategic direction of our business by harnessing data, insights, and partnerships. Your expertise will craft our business strategy and future growth.

Experience with Strategy Management in either a consultancy or in-house environment is needed to be successful in this role.

What will my role entail?

  • Collect, analyse, and disseminate critical insights on customer behaviour, market trends, and competitor actions.
  • Bring into play internal dashboards and forums to extract and interpret data.
  • Supervise and report on market dynamics, leveraging public data and financial reports.
  • Effectively communicate insights to senior partners through esure Group.
  • Lead the creation and presentation of regular performance reports, including customer journeys and commercial outcomes.
  • Work collaborative with key business functions (Finance, Pricing, Customer, Operations) to integrate data and insights.
  • Work with design and delivery teams to align customer data analysis with strategic objectives.
  • Build positive relationships with squads to identify growth opportunities and track the impact of strategic initiatives.
  • Drive the coordination and analysis of our strategy for periodic senior management reviews.
  • Assist in prioritising pivotal initiatives through detailed analysis and collaborative planning.
  • Lead the evaluation of new business opportunities, including partnerships and InsurTech collaborations.
  • Develop and manage briefing documents, relationship management, and day-to-day communications with partners.
  • Coordinate and maintain key strategic and customer risk registers, ensuring controls are identified, supervised, and reviewed.
  • Craft materials for conferences, analyst reports, fundraising, and meetings with market leaders.

  • Extensive experience in strategy and/or business development within consulting or in-house environments.
  • Expertise in UK, US, or European retail financial services, with a deep understanding of the sector's dynamics.
  • Outstanding communication skills, capable of producing compelling materials for Executive & Board-level audiences.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with proficiency in tools like Excel and commercial reporting systems.
