Sales Team Leader

Our successful, established and growing client have a new and very exciting opportunity for a Sales Team Leader to join their team in Westbury.

This is a new role, ideally suited to a passionate sales professional, who also has experience of leading high-performance teams!

This is a key role, which will focus on driving sales growth, leading the sales team of 4, and focusing on expanding the client base and maximising revenue opportunities. This is a true client focused role, where your interpersonal skills will be paramount to lead and inspire the team.

Office based role, working Monday - Friday 08.30 am - 5.00 pm.

The salary on offer is up to £35,000 per annum (depending on experience), holidays are 30 days including Bank Holidays. A statutory pension is on offer. Benefits include, free onsite parking, cycle to work scheme.

Role Overview

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and surpass sales goals
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones
  • Build and nurture relationships with key clients, understanding their printing needs, and providing tailored solutions
  • Analyse market trends, and pricing to remain competitive
  • Identify opportunities for growth and recommend improvements
  • collaborate with marketing and production teams, to optimise sales initiatives, prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets for management review
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities and market changes
  • Conduct training sessions, providing guidance to the sales team to help enhance their skills and product knowledge
  • Accurately estimate projects, collaborating with clients to understand their printing needs

The Person

  • Previous experience in managing and leading sales and account managers
  • Ability to account manage larger, complex business accounts
  • Strong leadership skills, with ability to motivate and mentor a sales team effectively
  • Experience in B2B ideally within a packaging / product/ warehouse environment
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation and closing skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office
