You will be directly supporting a fee earner within the team, providing specialist support covering the following duties:
- Preparation of correspondence and documentation
- Liaising with customers and dealing with incoming enquiries
- Arranging of appointments, hearings and parenting assessments
- Briefing Barristers ahead of hearings
- Opening and closing and updating of case files
- Applications for Legal Aid
- Typing of dictation and correspondence
They are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secretary with:
- ideally prior Family Law experience, or a Law Graduate with Family Law knowledge.
- Organised and attentive
- Excellent typing skills
- Comfortable working under pressure at times and to key deadlines
- Previous secretarial experience will be advantageous
- Friendly and proactive with great communications skills
