Job Title: Accountant - Maternity Cover

Salary: Rate between £25.38 and £26.75 per hour
Are you an experienced Accountant looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills? Our client, a leading organisation in Hounslow, London, is seeking an Accountant to join their team on a fixed-term contract for maternity cover.
Responsibilities:
- Aid in monthly close activities, including journal creation and posting.
- Collaborate with outsourced accounting providers and tax teams when necessary.
- Work closely with various teams, including Tax and Treasury, to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist auditors in financial statement audits.
- Project manage financial statement audits.
Requirements:
Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA, etc.).
Previous experience in practise or auditing.
Strong understanding of financial statements and related work.
Comfortable with project management and technical aspects of financial audits.
The successful candidate will primarily assist in the statutory financial audits and financial accounts preparation, working alongside third-party providers. This role requires a skilled individual who can handle project management while ensuring that financial audits are conducted accurately and in a timely manner. Additionally, month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliation preparation will be part of the responsibilities.
