Regional Outreach Officer

The Royal British Legion's Outreach Service currently operates in England, Wales and Ireland and provides, responsive, holistic, and person-centred support, to beneficiaries experiencing complex and often isolating challenges in relation to homelessness, mental health, addiction and dependency, domestic abuse, the Criminal Justice system, and children/families at risk. We are in the process of enhancing and increasing resource across this vital service, to ensure that we continue to meet the needs of our beneficiaries.

We are delighted to announce that we are expanding the Outreach Service and team and now recruiting for Regional Outreach Officer to join us in this mission.

As a Regional Outreach Officer, you will be responsible for managing a complex caseload, supporting and working alongside beneficiaries across the South East (Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire) providing advice, guidance and advocacy support to achieve outcomes that will have a positive impact on their lives.

Led by the Regional Lead Outreach, you will form part of the Outreach team, working in collaboration with wider Outreach Service team members across the UK as required.

The role is homebased, with the requirement to travel for beneficiary face to face appointments and other organisational meetings and training across South East.
