- Manage debt recovery processes to ensure timely payments.
- Monitor and maintain client accounts, ensuring accuracy of financial data.
- Collaborate effectively with sales and customer service departments.
- Prepare reports on account status and debt recovery progress.
- Handle client inquiries regarding payment issues and disputes.
- Contribute to departmental meetings and propose improvements to credit control processes.
- Adhere to company policies and legal regulations to ensure ethical, professional conduct.
- Maintain client confidentiality and protect company financial information.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and debt recovery regulations.
- Proven experience in a credit control or finance role
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset.
