Overview of the role and our Team:

As an Assistant Social & Influencer Manager, you will join our newly formed in-house Social, Content & Influencer team to implement no7 beauty company social and influencer campaigns and plans – all created with a Boots retailer customer in mind. You'll be a social media fanatic, who lives and breathes Instagram and TikTok. You'll have your fingers on the pulse when it comes to trending moments, ready to take action and create content in the moment. You should know what it takes to create successful social media content and copy – and you'll know the latest influencers and creators.

About the role:

  • You'll have dotted lines into our Social Media Manager for beauty, our Influencer Managers and the no7 beauty company teams.
  • With a Boots Retailer customer in mind, you'll create compelling stories & content to bring our no7 beauty company brands and products to live, bringing in a new customer and fanbase
  • Support the Social Media Manager with daily tasks and admin, where needed
  • Project managing social media content projects, ensuring there's a strong and seamless strategy, ideation, execution, delivery and reporting.
  • Work hand in hand with the no7 beauty company product, marketing and PR teams to ensure plans are aligned to the brand and existing social & influencer plans, ensuring no overlap and seamless integration.
  • Work with the social team on a rota for publishing social media content.
  • Support the total social team on community management, from identifying UGC and scoping out and reacting to trends, to replying to our community.
  • Helping to bring to life the brand voice with smart, social-first copy.
  • Self-filming social content, and using video editing software to edit into a best practice asset
  • Using Canva to create social content.
  • Through social listening, identify relevant conversations and be proactive with ideation and creation of content to ensure we're relevant and quick to react.
  • Manage a roster of talent and creators who fit the Boots brand, and the no7 beauty company brands. Outreach, negotiate, contract and brief talent, manage database, and report on value added.
  • Support the Influencer team in the management of our influencer & creator database.
  • Accountable for the sending and distribution of required product samples for influencer activations related to no7 beauty company X BootsUK.
  • Accountable for liaising with relevant teams to secure discount codes for talent.
  • Ownership of how no7 beauty company content shows up within the BootsUK social media calendars, ensuring these are presented to the Social Media Managers, and there's a smooth process to handing over to the Social & Content assistant for scheduling
  • Communicating social media platform updates to the rest of the team, and being proactive with recommendations on how we can be first to the party
  • Sprinklr will be your best friend – you'll fully integrate yourself into our Social Media tool, Sprinklr to support with social listening, scheduling, reporting.
  • Sometimes work outside of typical office hours where needed.
  • Sometimes travel to shoots or events for content capture purposes, which could involve long days or overnight stays.

What you'll need to have:

  • A passion and obsession for social media, content & influencer marketing, and a real want to learn and develop in this area.
  • Previous experience in a Social Media or influencer specific role.
  • An interest in health and beauty.
  • A positive can-do attitude, and the confidence to present to stakeholders in the business.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of social media trends, platforms and best practice – and how our different customers will use channels and consume content differently.
  • A customer first mindset with the natural ability to create and identify meaningful conversations and connect with different audiences.
  • The ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders internally and externally.
  • The ability to flex your working hours, should you need to travel to events or shoots.
  • ·Ability to manage multiple projects at once

Will be great if you also have

  • Experience of Photoshop/graphic design
  • Experience editing social content and video editing
