CNC Machinist (Off The Tools) £42,000 - £45,000 + Xmas Shutdown + Days Based + Training Dunstable, Hertfordshire
Are you a CNC Machinist who is looking for a chance to pivot into an off-the-tools role where you will receive full training to become a key member of the quotation team for this friendly company that prides itself in career development and retention?
In this role you will be liaising with clients and Workshop staff to generate BOM's and quotes based on machine hours, material and project turnaround. The role is days based, 8am-5pm with an early finish of Fridays. Full training will be provided.
This precision engineering company were founded in the 1990s and pride themselves on their exceptionally high quality standards and excellent staff retention rates. They work as a subcontractor, providing machining services to industries such as medical, energy, and F1 and they're looking to continue their growth for years to come.
This role would suit a CNC Machinist looking for a rare opportunity to get off the tools and be trained as a quotes estimator for a company that had great retention, career development and a friendly atmosphere.
The Role:
- Quoting prices based on material, machine hours and inspection requirements
- Full training and career development
- Monday to Thursday, 8am - 5pm with a 2:30pm finish on Fridays
- 31 days holiday, including bank holidays and an Xmas shutdown
