Royal Mail is looking for people with a flair for customer service and a passion for delivering service excellence. You will need to be confident on the telephone and able to communicate with customers politely and effectively.

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the voice of Royal Mail, handling customer enquiries, complaints and feedback with care and professionalism.

Duties will include:

  • General enquiries (advice and support)
  • Tracking/Complaints
  • Handling all customer interactions with care – delivering a ‘first class' customer experience at all times.
  • Effectively dealing with telephone, email, white-mail, complaints and general customers enquiries
  • Data inputting – quickly and accurately

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven record within a fast-paced customer service environment
  • Experience in a contact centre environment
  • Enthusiastic and responsive – seeking a positive resolution for all customers.
  • Computer literate and good keyboard skills

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will enjoy:

  • A competitive pay rate of £12.97 per hour
  • 37.5 hours per week, with shifts between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday, and 8am to 3pm Saturday with a day off during the week (Shifts given 4 weeks in advance) Sundays are very rare but may be required and are paid at £14 per hour and from 9am to 2pm if worked.

You will also receive full training for the role, which will last for two weeks from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

(Please note that annual leave is not permitted during the first three weeks of training, and minimal annual leave may be requested after this subject to availability)
