Finance Officer | Shrewsbury | Office Based | 08:30-16:30 (Negotiable) | Salary £30,000-£35,000
A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Finance Officer to join a well-established, family-run business in Shawbury. This is a standalone finance role, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
The Company
Seymour John is thrilled to be working in partnership with a family-run business in the Shawbury area that are recruiting for an experienced Finance Officer to join their team, during a busy and exciting period for the company.
The Opportunity.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the day to day finance function of the business as well as administration tasks that help with the smooth running of the business. Duties will include:
Finance:
- Purchase Ledger
- Sales Ledger
- Monthly VAT Returns
- Preparing Management Accounts
- Management Reporting to discuss with senior leadership
Admin:
- Processing orders
- Liasing regularly with transport companies
- Analysing daily stock sheet
Personal Profile
This role would suit an experienced Finance Assistant who has a 'hands on' and adaptive approach to their work. You will need to be deadline driven and capable of multi-tasking as this role requires you to be involved in multiple areas of the business at one time.
