A growing and dynamic company is seeking a Credit Controller to join their Manchester office, focusing on managing overseas customers. About the Role

Title: Credit Controller (FT, Perm)

Location: Manchester (hybrid)

Salary: up to £26K per annum

Benefits: 24 days holiday plus BH, pension, life assurance plus many more!

Hours: Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

  • Manage the debt portfolio of clients of varying sizes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and interdepartmental teams.
  • Assist in onboarding new clients with accurate data entry.
  • Conduct credit checks on new and existing clients to manage risk.
  • Achieve targeted month-on-month overdue debt levels.
  • Prepare and present debt reports in weekly meetings with senior finance and operations managers, supported by the Senior Credit Controller.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Credit Control function.
  • Ability to reconcile complex accounts with excellent attention to detail.
  • Professional manner and confidence to communicate with senior personnel.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability to meet targeted month-end debt levels.
