Our client, a well-established leader in their industry, is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their team. Known for their outstanding reputation and excellent service, they have a robust client base and are looking for someone to manage and grow existing accounts.

About the Role:

Are you an experienced Sales Manager or Senior BDM looking for a new challenge? My client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven sales team Leader to deliver outstanding sales performance. In this role, you will not only oversee a team but also manage your own portfolio of accounts, driving growth and building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Oversee a sales team consisting of 3 internal sales representatives.
  • Sales Maximization: Drive sales growth with both new and existing customers, ensuring the team meets or exceeds targets and daily KPIs.
  • Proactive Sales Management: Monitor and enhance proactive sales activities and outcomes within the team.
  • Account Management: Manage an existing set of accounts to increase revenue and maintain regular contact with customers.
  • Upselling & Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue.
  • Customer Engagement: Re-engage lapsed customers, interpret customer requirements, provide accurate quotations, and follow up to convert quotes into orders.
  • Order & Stock Management: Process and manage customer orders, allocate stock to project orders upon arrival from suppliers, and follow up on deliveries to resolve any arising issues.
  • CRM Management: Ensure the CRM system is accurately maintained and up-to-date.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven Success: Demonstrable success in a senior sales or sales management role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Leadership: Strong ability to lead, motivate, and drive a team to achieve results.
  • Sales Expertise: Solid experience in sales, with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities.
  • Customer Focus: Exceptional ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, with a focus on understanding their needs and delivering solutions.
