DK Recruitment are seeking a skilled Thermal Insulator Operative (Pipe Lagger) to join our client's team at Devonport, Plymouth. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out insulation activities on Fleet Time and Upkeep projects within our client's Warships and Submarine Business units. This will be a 12 month contract.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake insulation activities on Fleet Time and Upkeep projects within Warships and ubmarine Business units.
- Perform duties as a Nuclear Reactor Worker.
- Work within a safe environment, adhering to Risk and COSHH assessments.
- Identify various pipe systems accurately.
- Read and interpret system drawings effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in insulation work, preferably within a naval or military setting.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including Risk and COSHH assessments.
- Ability to identify and work with different pipe systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting system drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Experience
- Experience working in a nuclear reactor environment is highly desirable.
- Relevant certifications in insulation and health & safety.
Ability to obtain and hold SC Security clearance is a requirement of this role.
