Support Technician

We are currently looking for a self-motivated and driven Support Technician to join a well-established and global leading specialist supplier based in Northampton. This is a permanent, office-based role, working full time hours, 8.30am-5pm Monday - Friday, and paying £30K.

The Role:

  • Efficiently answer support phone calls for all equipment and software
  • Provide technical support to customers and go through all troubleshoot options and the first line support procedure
  • Escalate issues further to second line support when required
  • Responsible for sending out loan equipment and spare parts to customers
  • Talking customers through spare parts replacement / repairs over the phone or via video
  • Send introductory emails to customers regarding the procedure to software installs
  • Carry out remote software installs on new equipment
  • Raise technical cases on the CRM system and create quotes
  • Email quotes and quotation reports to the end customer
  • Liaise with internal teams on customer / client requests and queries

You:

  • Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
  • Posses solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience providing first line support
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Highly organised with attention to detail
  • Demonstrates professionalism and a positive, can-do attitude

The Package:

  • £30K salary
